We have a custom home in Carter Canyon subdivision in Wright City.  This is our second Steve Thomas home.  We originally built in Wyndgate in Lake St. Louis.  That house was excellent quality and a good value for the price.  When we later decided to downsize after becoming empty-nesters, Steve Thomas was the only choice of builders that we considered.  The staff was great to work with as we selected the various options and colors for our new home.. Neal and I are writing this letter for you to share with your current and future clients regarding the outstanding and beautiful addition that you and your team accomplished on our home. We have lived in our current home for 32 years, a simple 3 bedroom ranch in St Peters. We raised our 2 sons here and up until recently, the home was “enough”. After the boys were grown, we toyed with the idea of moving, but were happy with our location just felt we needed an update. Our grandson, Blane, born last year helped us decide that we needed more room...a “Blane” room. After many visits to our house, many planning sessions about size, features, details, etc...Steve finally had put to paper what we wanted. Ground was broken on April 5th and the project was totally finished on May 25th. This was no small addition...a 24ft. by 26ft., 4 season, great room with a full basement. New air conditioning and heating including new venting for all, complete retro fit of the old house to be up to code with new smoke detectors and return vents throughout, a 10ft by 12 ft patio with sidewalk to front of house, addition of concrete to existing patio, sod to side and back yard where yard was torn up by equipment and construction of new addition, new windows to entire house and addition, siding to entire house and addition, upgraded electric to entire house, and suggestions for the best interior finishes; paint and carpeting. Needless to say, we are absolutely thrilled with our addition, there is not one thing that I would change. We could not be happier and get compliments from everyone that comes to visit. My “Blane” room is perfect and our experience with Steve Thomas Homes was professional and stress free.
